Stronghold is now on the lookout for extra staff to support the rollout of our instructor programme at our two centres – Tottenham Hale and London Fields. We are looking for Instructors / Coaches who can also be Team Members to help support our growing business. An ability to work across both sites is a must as is the need to be able to work regular weekends and evenings.

We are particularly looking for experienced instructors / coaches who have already completed a Mountain Training qualification – for eg CWI or Foundation Coach. Stronghold is keen to further support any successful applicants who have already started this pathway & who wish to develop their coaching skills further. We are also looking for keen applicants who wish to start this instruction / coaching pathway and will provide training to develop their skills. We expect a successful applicant to be able to work with children and adults and to have a passion for climbing.

Experience in a customer service role is preferred but full training will be provided by Stronghold. We are looking for people to be part of this next exciting growth stage of Stronghold.

Rates of Pay (p/hr):

Instructor / Coach – £11 (for times when working on an instructed session)
Team Member – £9.50
(minimum age 16 for all current vacancies)

Timeline:

  • Applications deadlines: Sunday 22nd August at 11pm.
  • Interview dates: commencing 25th August
  • Position start: week commencing 30th August

Interviews will be carried out in London Fields. Initial training will take part at Tottenham Hale site for all staff with a number of day and weekend shifts needing to be completed.
