“I’m an Experienced Climber and would Love to climb with my kids”
We love kids to climb at Stronghold and they are welcome to climb with Experienced Adult Climbers. We do though have a strict supervisory policy so we strongly recommend you read it prior to your visit (See Below). *Under the current social distancing rules we are only allowing 12 – 17 Year olds to be supervised, with one child per one experienced adult*
If you are an Experienced Adult Climber you can also pre-register as a supervisor for any kids you wish to bring along. See U18 Supervisors form below and fill in a form for each child you wish to supervise.
“I don’t have climbing experience but would Love to try it out with my Kids”
Our Family Inductions will teach you everything you need to know. (Coming Back Soon)
“ I am between 14 and 17 years old and have indoor climbing experience”
At the Stronghold Climbing Centre we do allow children aged 14 – 17 years old to climb unsupervised. In order to be able to climb unsupervised the child will have to demonstrate to a Stronghold staff member that they have the experience and maturity to climb responsibly within the climbing wall. The parent or guardian will have to complete the Unsupervised Junior Form in the link below.
Novice climbers or under-18 climbers
“ I want to drop my kids off with your wonderful instructors”
We have After School and Weekend Kids clubs available every week. These are for all kids from 6 Years old to 14 years old. We even have extra Holiday Kids Clubs for when school is out.
A parent or legal guardian will need to complete a Consent Form for every child attending a instructed session.
(Rockers clubs should be back in August)
