First Visit

Everyone who wishes to climb here at Stronghold will need to register before their first visit. You can pre-register online which will speed up the process and allow for more climbing time.

Before you complete the registration form you should watch our Induction video. Anyone with less than six months of bouldering experience must watch the Induction video.

If you still feel unsure about your climbing ability after watching the video, you should book an Induction, a private session or come with an experienced adult climber who will need to complete a Supervisor Assessment.

If you have never climbed before you will need to come on an Induction: we offer these for individuals and families. Both can be booked online here.

If you are under 18 or you are planning to bring a child with you to the centre, please refer to our Under 18 Policy here.

If you are looking for our Terms & Conditions, please click here, or here for our Bouldering Guidelines.

Our lockers operate on a padlock system – please bring your own padlock if you wish to use a locker. There are padlocks available to purchase in our shop.
