Can Tottenham climb Everest?

With the help of the Tottenham community, Stronghold Climbing Centre is aiming to climb the height of the world’s tallest mountain, Mount Everest, while raising money for local charity, Mind in Haringey.

Every climb completed by you, your friends and family will go towards the goal of 8,848m or 2,212 boulder problems! Stronghold will donate 25p from each completed boulder problem to Mind

The event which is being held on Saturday, July 28th, is part of the wider Tottenham Creates festival.

From 9am until 9pm, there will be taster sessions for children, teenagers, families, and adults, as well as workshops with professional climbers, climbing films, food, live music and drinks from local breweries.

Taster sessions cost £10 for adults and £5 for children. Sessions must be pre-booked. Scroll down to see our availability.

The day is open to all ages but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Each adult can supervise two children ages 6-18, or one child under the age of six. Click here to read our Under-18 policy.

The centre will be open as normal on the day for climbers who are already registered.

Please note, if you have no prior bouldering experience you must book a taster session to be able to climb at the centre. If you are unable to make this special event, we run inductions everyday of the week which you can book online here.
